Supporters may want Mayor Bloomberg to stick around, but don't expect him to still be at City Hall when his current term expires, WABC reports:
The mayor says he has no plans to call for lifting term limits so he can run again. There has been growing speculation Bloomberg was interested in another term, but he insists that's not the case. Bloomberg said that he supports term limits and is not actively trying to overturn them, although he gave himself some latitude in his answer.
"I always thought term limits were a good idea," he told reporters. "Whether two terms or three terms is something you could debate." But he quickly added, "I am not trying to overturn term limits."
