ALERT - Tri-State Area Traffic Advisory Due to Inclement Weather

ALERT - Tri-State Area Traffic Advisory Due to Inclement Weather

YWN would like to remindall readers to please use common sense if travelling to a destination for Shabbos. YWN has already received reports of traffic slowdowns on the Garden State Parkway, and the NY State Thruway. Please leave yourself with an adequate amount of travelling time.

This will only get worse as the already accumulating snow, begins to spread around the Tri-State area. As of this posting, there is approximately 2 inches of snow on the ground in Brooklyn.

Visibility on many roads was very poor within minutes of the snow starting to fall across the region this morning.

There are reports of multiple motor vehicle accidents across the region, and many Upstate NY roads that were plowed were quickly covered by the falling snow.

If you must drive, YWN reminds you to please use extreme caution on the roads, say Tefillas Haderech, and remember to always wear a seat-belt.

Wishing you all a great Shabbos,

YWN News Desk - NYC.
