[UPDATED] Turkish Airline Crash in Amsterdam Airport

12:30PM IL: A Turkish Airline plane with 135 on board crashed near Amsterdam�s Schiphol International Airport. It appears the plane broke into at least three pieces.

Turkish Airline flight 1951, a Boeing 737-800, crashed, apparently while trying to land. The flight originated in Istanbul, Turkey. Reuters states that local officials are reporting at least 50 people have survived unhurt. There are reports of an unknown number of dead on the scene. Schiphol is Europe�s fifth largest airport.

12:09PM IL: Israel Radio reported a short time ago that a Turkish Airline flight crashed as it was attempting to touch down in the Amsterdam Airport. The plane reportedly broke into a number of pieces. There are reports of dead on the scene.� (Yechiel Spira � YWN Israel)
