In the Yehi Ratzon of Maran Harav Chaim Kanievsky Shlit

Reb Chaim has always had a unique seder that he conducts exclusively during the aseres yemei teshuvah. Every day of the aseres yemei teshuvah, the door closes for a while in the Kanievsky home, and no one is permitted to enter. There are no sheilos, no reception of visitors, no exceptions.

The door is locked and Maran, shlit"a, immerses himself in the service of his G-d. He opens his sefer Tehillim and spends the next two hours alone with his Creator, reciting pasuk after pasuk in a pleading voice, like a son importuning his loving father. This takes place on ten days of the year only - from Rosh Hashanah through Yom Kippur. Upon completing sefer Tehillim, Maran, shlit"a, recites the Yehi Ratzon and then - he will pray for you. The tzaddik hador carries us all like a compassionate shepherd. From the lofty heights of his advanced age and the spirit of purity resting upon him, he agrees to daven on behalf of contributors to Kupat Ha'ir.
