Dear Yeshiva World users, A friend recently sent us a request for help that we had to pass on. Please read it and consider helping. Recently, I became involved with the Tel HaShomer Hospital in Ramat Gan. There, I met a 10 year old girl named Noa, who is bravely fighting a brain tumor. She is amazingly doing well after 9 surgeries and many treatments of chemotherapy and radiation. Her mother is single and they have succumbed to large debt to pay for the treatments not covered by insurance. Still, Noa is an incredibly optimistic, sweet and inspiring individual. Currently, after speaking with her specialist, Dr. Yoram Neumann, her hope lies in the Keytruda medication to strengthen her immune system and fight off the cancer. Since we have become friends with Rivka (Noa’s mom) and her daughter, and they are desperate for funds, we started a GoFundMe campaign to raise money for Noa’s life-saving treatment and to relieve some of her burden. The complete treatment will cost USD 120,000, but we already have a pledge for $65,000! Still, we have a shortfall of $46,000. I believe, with some help we will reach it. Today, I turn to you as a friend of the family of Noa and I respectfully ask you to please donate to the campaign and share the link to it with friends and contacts as well as with people active on social media so they can spread it. Any donation will be truly life-saving, deeply appreciated and forever remembered. To donate click on the link below. |
